Kathryn
Kathryn is a dedicated yoga instructor with 4 years of experience in guiding students towards physical and mental wellness. Her journey with yoga began as a personal practice to find balance and strength in her own life, and it has since evolved into a passion for sharing its transformative powers with others.
Kathryn believes in creating a welcoming and inclusive space where students of all levels can explore the practice of yoga. Her teaching style emphasises mindfulness, breath awareness, and proper alignment, allowing students to cultivate a deeper connection with their bodies and minds.
Kathryn is deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve her community through the practice of yoga, and looks forward to supporting and empowering her students on their own unique paths toward health and vitality.
Off the mat you’ll either find Kathryn in the gym or in a coffee shop with a good book.
Lucy
Lucy is an experienced and loved coach at East Park Gym who has built total core classes with life and everyday movement at its heart.
These include balance, muscle recruitment, strength, and mobility movements. Lucy’s goal is to help you move better and feel confident outside of the gym, all whilst having fun doing so.
Jan
Jan took up Pilates for her own physical and mental wellbeing. Her passion led to a career change, leaving the corporate world to teach what she loves.
Jan has a Level 3 certification, teaches Reformer and Mat Pilates. Her focus is on building strength, range of motion and control, teaching in layers to give everyone the the right challenge to progress. Her training includes the full classical repertoire, contemporary, pre/post natal, older person, osteoporosis and clinical pilates rehab after injury.
Prue
Prudence has been practising yoga for over a decade and in 2017 graduated from the Australian Yoga Academy in Melbourne with an Advanced Diploma of teaching. Over the years, she has become particularly drawn to facilitating Yin Yoga, in addition to guiding Slow Flow vinyasa classes.
Her Yin classes are designed to be inclusive and to encourage autonomy in students. She believes that it is vital that we learn to find stillness in our often busy lives and her aim is for members to experience a safe space where they can slow down and get to know themselves on a deeper level via the yin poses.
Abi
Having qualified in a 200 hour vinyasa yoga training in 2020, Abi has been passionately teaching yoga for over three years. She followed this with 50 hours of yin training, and curates classes around both strong flowing sequences and slow restorative sessions. She believes a mix of both yin & yang yoga styles helps to create balance on and off the mat.
Abi focuses on creating a deep awareness of breath and movement, allowing her students the space to disconnect from a busy mind and tune back into their own bodies.
Rachel
Rachel discovered Pilates after she was recommended to try it by a physio for lower back pain. She immediately loved the discipline and benefits of the practice and took lessons for a few years before deciding to train as an instructor.
Rachel completed her Level 3 Mat certification with Body Control Pilates in London and then went on to study reformer Pilates and pre- and post-natal pregnancy Pilates.
Her appreciation for the mind body connection is what she loves and working with clients on enhanced body awareness through stability, mobility and core strengthening movement.
Lamorna
Lamorna O’Toole, founder of A Quiet Mind, transitioned from the fast-paced world of film to discover the calming power of sound healing.
Based in Berkshire, she curates sound bath experiences blending the principles of slow living with therapeutic frequencies to provide profound rest and rejuvenation.
Passionate about mindful living, Lamorna’s sessions foster deep connection, self-discovery, and relief from modern-day stress.
